Glow Run

What is the Glow Run?

The Glow Run is our Waite Park PTA-led fundraiser, and it's how we raise the majority of the PTA funds for the school year. The PTA partners with Boosterthon to make it a truly epic day for the kids.

Leading up to the event, the kids reach out the family and friends for donations, through an easy online donation page. In past year, more than 75% of all donations have come from friends, co-workers, neighbors and extended family members! Throughout the week leading up to the event, the students earn class prizes and learn lessons about building character and resilience.

The day of the Glow Run, the PTA provides every student with a new Waite Park t-shirt and completely transforms the gym into a flashy racetrack (think 90's roller skate rink)- decked out with neon lights, balloons, and pump up music. The students walk, skip, and run around the gym (by grade) while their fellow classmates and teachers cheer them on!
